BOB BELLERUE is a noise composer, experimental musician, and creative technician based in Brooklyn NY. Over the last 30 years he has been involved in a wide range of sonic activities – experimental electronic music, junk metal percussion ensembles, Balinese gamelan, sound scores for dance/ theater/ video/ performance art, and sound / video installations. His electronic sound work is focused on resonant feedback systems, using amplified instruments/ objects/ spaces/ circuits in combination with electronics and Supercollider programming. Bob’s work has been presented at The Kitchen, Issue Project Room, Fylkingen, EMS, Experimental Intermedia, Cafe Oto, the Yogyakarta Gamelan Festival, Centre de Cultura Contemporanea de Barcelona, Sonic Circuits Festival, Living Arts of Tulsa’s New Genre Festival, CEAIT Festival, Ende Tymes Festival, Denver Noise Festival, Olympia Experimental Music Festival, PDX Noise Festival, Diapason Sound Gallery, Roulette, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Elastic Arts, Here Art Center, Radio Epsilonia (Paris), WFMU, WKCR, WNYU, KFJC, KXLU, East Village Radio, the Art Institutue of Chicago, Stanford University, The New School, UCSD, and UCLA. His discography includes dozens of releases on iDeal Recordings, Banned Productions, Fabrica, P-Tapes, RRR Records, Love Earth Music, Prison Tatt Records, Los Discos Enfantasmes, Zelphabet, Peyote Tapes, No Rent Records, Important Records, and his own Anarchymoon Recordings and Sleepy Hollow Editions. He curates and produces the Ende Tymes Festival of Noise and Experimental Liberation (currently in its 8th edition). He was formerly based in Los Angeles, where he ran the sub-garde experimental music/performance space the Il Corral, and curated the Beyond Music series and festival.

GEOFF MATTERS works with sound and light. You may have run into him shredding with his electronic punk band, projecting decorations around galleries and parties, experimenting his way through a dance performance soundtrack, or plugging you in at your local jam session. FUMI MATTERS is a dancer who discovered in video a new realm for exploring motion and time. She incorporates analog objects, illustration, and editing into her work.
DYLAN NEELY is a composer and sound artist whose projects includes film and theater scoring, electroacoustic performance, opera, and installation. A Fulbright Fellow, Dylan has participated in residencies/programs through The Watermill Center, SiMN, The New York Youth Symphony, Flux Factory, mpa-B, and highSCORE, with performances at venues including Symphony Space, The Museum of the Moving Image, Issue Project Room, Lincoln Center Film Society, MoMA PS1, and La MaMa. His music has been played by groups including Mills Contemporary Performance Ensemble, Ensemble Móbile, The American Composers’ Orchestra, and The Salome Chamber Orchestra, and his arrangements have been featured on the series Mozart in the Jungle. He received a B.A. from Bard College at Simon’s Rock and M.F.A. from Mills College. He’s based in Brooklyn, NY, where he creates sound for Fan Letters and works in film music.
JEREMY D. SLATER‘s sound work consists of field recordings as a base to create processed drones with guitar, objects, ambient noise, and environmental sound. Performances include live performed video that is ambient and reactive. Video work includes single and multiple channel videos for screening and installations with sound and ephemeral sculpture. He is a member of Plan 23, ROTC (Rubaiyats of the Cicadas), Frogwell, and tū. Jeremy Slater was one of the 1999 recipients of the Computer Art Fellowship from New York Foundation of the Arts (NYFA) and has attended the Experimental Television Residency, was guest musician at Watermill Center and HERE with Cave/Leimay, and was artist in residence at Seoul Art Space_Geumcheon in Seoul, South Korea. He has exhibited and performed in the United States, Canada, England, Germany, France, Italy, South Korea, and Japan.
HANS TAMMEN performs “Conflict of Interest”, using data from his own personal genetic analysis. He likes to set sounds in motion, and then sitting back to watch the movements unfold. Using textures, timbre and dynamics as primary elements, his music is continuously shifting, with different layers floating into the foreground while others disappear. He calls his guitar work Endangered Guitar because of the extreme alterations he enacts upon his instrument’s sound and construction, resulting in a hybrid guitar/software instrument made to interactively control live sound processing. Signal To Noise called his works “…a killer tour de force of post-everything guitar damage”, All Music Guide recommended him: “…clearly one of the best experimental guitarists to come forward during the 1990s.”
