- What is your story?
I was born in a family of athletes, mum and dad, gym and athletics champions in 1985′. As a child I was immediately put to so many trials of life since the early age of 1. Due to my parents’ family and school problems, who were still minors, I grew up in a kind of orphanage where I was taken home only on Saturdays and Sundays. Let’s say that I cut my teeth :)Mom always tells me that I was so mature at the age of 5 years that I would go to pay the electricity bill alone by bus, I would get off at the last stop. My childhood is full of beautiful stories, one day I would like to write a book to tell my life which is crazier than that of Pippi Longstocking. At the age of 15 I was already a young lady who wanted to study apart from working, so I left home with my parents’ consent. I went to America to become a model, earn money and pursue my dream of becoming a good photographer. Completely the opposite to what I am doing now :). - Where are you from?
I come from a beautiful place, a city on seven hills, a truly magical place. It’s called Iasi and although it’s culturally important, I thought I lived in a place where there was nothing. But this is because in my mind up to 14 years there is nothing but a great desire to play sports at competitive level and be the best in my region.I was born in Iasi, a very nice city in Romania, a small Bologna, a university town, but at the age of 14 I left for New York but my base has always been Italy. - Which opportunities of “empowerment” have you received through an encounter, an audition, a person who believed in you?
There was not a particular meeting. I must say that success in fashion arrived very slowly. In a progressive way, today I am in a mature professional age, I look back and agree that I have come a long way.
- What are the values that guide you and spur you?
First of all loyalty and then the family, I believe it is the most important value for our lives. - What motivated you to approach the Andrea Bocelli Foundation?
The Andrea Bocelli Foundation is for me is a mission of Life, I am amazed by their work and I am honored to be able to contribute. The Foundation is a serious and concrete reality, just think of the Sarnano project, a school was rebuilt in only 5 months, I like the way they operate, they are in the field, not only Andrea and Veronica who are fantastic people but the whole Foundation works with great commitment and indeed, they are a family, a group of people helping those less fortunate than us. I’m proud to be part of it and I’ll give it my all, and I think that living among children and doing things for them is the most beautiful thing in the world.
