TMM MULLIGAN: “I am currently tracing the boundaries between the actions, the objects and the audio. I celebrate the obsolescent and explore the emergent, mapping territories via stylus, electroacoustics and radioactivity. Working both solo and in collaboration, I engage improvised live sound situations and recognize both the ephemeral and the archeological.” Collaborators include Kee Koo, Corcorax (with Che Chen), Teatro Chinampa, and Dub Dub with releases on Obsolete Units, Free103point9 audio dispatches, and Winds Measure Recordings
X>echolocation>X represents a curatorial series of online audio recordings originally transmitted as Radio Ruido pirate broadcasts from Brooklyn NYC. The ongoing focus has been to present a forum for experimental sound cultures.
